We’d seen Daina perform several times at Nye’s and when we were planning a house party, we tracked her down and booked her. It was great. She comes with her portable keyboard and speakers, some song books of suggestions and lyrics (but her knowledge is so deep she can pretty much play anything you throw at her). She played ‘background’ music while everyone mingled, but gently persuaded people to get involved. Someone finally took the bait and sang and then it was on. We had an awesome time. There’s a bunch of buzz about Saturday’s event.  You did a great job! Everyone had so much fun they stayed later than they ever have.

Thank you for coming!!  It was simply marvelous and I appreciate you accommodating the fashionably late crowd.  All this week I’ve heard wonderful compliments—folks not remembering the last time they just went out and were entertained, couples given the opportunity to dance with each other, expressing that they had so much fun watching you “attack” the keys they forgot that they could get up and dance, many who stayed the entire time without expecting to because it was so much fun and more.  Thank you for letting me be a part of your show—that was memorable as well!!
